Subject

The subject is clear and rules of composition and light draw emphasis to the subject.

The photo does not seem to have a subject.


Light

Light improves and enhances the photo’s visibility, clarity, contrast and value.

Light improves the photo’s visibility, clarity, contrast and value.

The photo is dark or light and content is difficult to see.

The photo is underexposed or overexposed and content cannot be identified.


Composition

Photo is simple and uncluttered. Compositional concepts such as Rule of Thirds, Center, Diagonal, Curved and Leading Lines are successfully used to enhance the subject.

Photo is simple and uncluttered. Compositional concepts are used and show some success in enhancing the subject.

Photo is cluttered and details do not enhance the subject. Compositional concepts are used with minimal success.

Photo does not appear to have a subject or purpose and compositional concepts are not evident.

Submission Rules: WALKING MAN PASSPORT BOOK Contest: Contestants can download a Walking Man Map by printing out the file here or picking up a map at any TWMP sponsored location: Every Participating Walking Man Sponsor will have a designated stamp for their business. Contestants can ask for a stamp at the participating business’ customer service desk. After collecting all the stamps, contestants can drop off the book at Hoosier Park South Side Centaur Desk on the Racing side . Each passport book submitted must contain only one submission name. The contestant’s contact information (full name, street address, phone number, and email address) must be printed on the submitted booklet. Only one completed passport book per person may be submitted for the contest. Prizes will be given to the first person to collect all stamps and submit the form accordingly. Throughout the exhibition, weekly winners will be drawn from the collection of completed books. Good Luck, and enjoy your walking man tour! walking man PHOTO CONTEST: 1. Only one photograph per person per Walking Man sculpture may be submitted each week. There are 31 sculptures on display, so you may submit anywhere from 1 to 31 photographs per week. You can not submit multiple shots of the same sculpture in one week. 4. The same photograph may not be submitted twice. By submission, the owner gives Walking Man Inc, the hosting city, the news media, and each individual sponsoring business copyright permission for printing, website publishing, or commercial use. we look forward to seeing your pictures!
